Earlier this month saw the return of World Book Day – the biggest nationwide celebration of reading in schools. We wanted to continue the celebration and show parents how reading can help their children dream big and believe they can achieve anything.

March is also the host month of ‘International Women’s Day’, a day when the world comes together to celebrate inspirational women everywhere, so for this campaign, we’ve made it all about the girls.  We have teamed up with our favourite bloggers and have asked them to help us spread the message which shows little girls (and boys!) everywhere that they can achieve anything they set their mind to in life and that no dream is too big!

We sent bloggers a selection of books from the incredible “Little People, Big Dreams” collection – a series of books that celebrate the lives of some awesome women that changed history. These books are suitable for ages 4-8, and go through the lives of these very famous ladies, highlighting that whilst they went on to achieve incredible things, they all started as little girls, with big dreams.
Highlights from the collection include:

  • Maya Angelou
  • Amelia Earhart
  • Coco Chanel
  • Marie Curie
  • Frida Kahlo
  • Agatha Christie

Stay tuned as All About You, Mummy La La, Double the Monkey Business and Coffee, Cake, Kids will be sharing their thoughts on the books soon!
