Loft beds are beds that are raised high off the floor with a ladder to climb up to sleeping height. They are the tallest of all elevated beds and are great space savers. They are particularly good for older children as they have plenty of space underneath for a desk, sofa bed, wardrobe or storage units.

It depends on whether you are wanting one or two beds? A loft bed offers space under the high bed for storage, study or space to sit and relax, if you are looking for a bed for 2 children then a bunk bed is ideal as it houses 2 beds in the footprint of one bed.It depends on the room. If you are looking to save on floor space, a loft bed would be more suitable, however bunk beds are ideal for those looking for more than one bed as a bunk bed combines two into one single unit.
Are loft beds a good idea?
Loft beds are a good idea, ours are made of solid wood and are designed to help you maximise space. If you have hard flooring in the bedroom where the loft bed will be housed, you could add a rug, bean bag and or pillows to create a cosy space underneath the bed.
