With spells of warm weather continuing to brighten our weeks, you may be wondering how…
Now more than ever, going back to school could be met with a little worry from your children. There will be some who can’t wait to get back while others are a little more hesitant. Whatever your situation, having a cosy place to rest their heads will help, and our range of children’s beds provide just that. Here are our top tips on how to settle kids back into the school routine.
Having had such a long time off school, it may be tricky for kids to keep organised. Cabin beds with desks are excellent choices for teens looking for some peace to study in their own space. Our high sleeper beds have room underneath the children’s beds to create a study area. Many models also have storage to keep books and stationery neat and tidy.
Having somewhere peaceful to relax at the end of the day is important for everyone. Children’s beds that are not only comfortable but fun to sleep in encourage positive feelings around bedtime. Which in turn also helps you ensure your kids get the amount of rest that they need to flourish at school and home.
Our notice boards are perfect for keeping to-do lists and revision schedules in one place. If you choose one of our children’s desk bed styles, the addition of a notice board can really help to complete the space. Adding positive affirmations and precious photos to the board can also help to keep kids motivated as they settle back into the school routine.
A comfortable children’s bed is all well and good, but you need to get them out of them! A week before school starts, it’s a good idea to trial getting up in the morning and to bed at a reasonable hour. This will hopefully make the transition back into school easier. Also, getting yourself ready before the kids when school reopens is helpful. Younger children especially like to be guided through the steps of getting ready, dressed and eating breakfast. Having you by their side will really help, particularly if they’re suffering with some back to school nerves.
